Coach Kelly was a fitness instructor at the JCC in Rochester, New York, and spent his summers running basketball and sports camps. He served on the professional staff of the National Youth Sports Program for at-risk youth and instructed athletes in weight lifting, football, basketball, soccer, baseball, track and field, golf and swimming.
He is a footwork and mechanics expert who helps athletes improve strength, posture, balance, accuracy and overall performance through progressive speed, agility and conditioning programs.
Coach Kelly operates FootWorkU as a basketball fundamentals and athletic-development program focused on proper footwork, shooting technique, body control, basketball IQ, moves and counter moves. His programs build balance and confidence through repetition, power moves and core exercises.
His safety-first approach includes injury-prevention training designed to protect shoulders, hips and knees while improving performance. He has worked with established basketball coaches and helped run Mark Price’s Shooting Camp and Teresa Edwards’ Gold Medal Camp.
